WILLSON: Fred A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Chatham, died peacefully at Blenheim Community Village on Thursday September 13, 2007 at the age of 80. Born in Erieau, son of the late James & Mary (Wigle) Willson. Beloved husband of June (Mifflin) Willson for 53 yrs. Loving father of Carl Willson of Oshawa, Ann French, Mike & Kim Willson, and Barb & Ron Bodnar, all of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of Bruce French of Toronto, Sarah French of Ottawa, Matthew Willson, Karlene Willson, Victoria Bodnar, and Jessica Bodnar, all of Chatham. Dear brother of Evelyn Millard of Michigan, Gordon & Jean Willson of Chatham, Marie Brock of Blenheim, and the late Maurice, Art, Harold, Dorothy, Max, Maxine, Roxanne, and Donald. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Fred retired from Siemens, Chatham. He was a longtime volunteer with St. John Ambulance, retiring as Superintendent, and was honoured as a Serving Brother of the Order of St. John. He also volunteered with CASARA (Civil Air Search & Rescue Association). Fred was an active member of St. Andrews United Church, Chatham and A.O.T.S. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews United Church, 85 William Street South, on Monday September 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with family interment at a later date.
