Obituary of Uffe Blok-Andersen

BLOK-ANDERSEN: UFFE B.Sc.Eng, LL.D. (University of New Brunswick) of Chatham-Kent, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the age of 84 with his wife of 41 years Sharon (Pole) Blok-Andersen and the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at his side. Also survived by his daughter, Kris. Private arrangements were entrusted to McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham. The family will honour Uffe’s memory with donations to St. Jude’s Cathedral Building Fund, Iqaluit, Nunavut (in care of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Chatham), the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (for nurse recruitment and palliative care) and St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation-Parkwood Campus (for Alzheimer’s research).
