BURNHAM: Thomas. A resident of Petrolia and formerly of Chatham, Thomas Burnham died peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Sunday September 30, 2007 at the age of 98. Born in Mull, son of the late Asa & Catherine (Woofenden) Burnham. Beloved husband of the late Lena (Gardiner) Burnham (May 2007). Loving father of Nancy and Ron Kent of Wyoming and Diane and George Bourdeau of Nanaimo, B.C. Grandfather of Thomas Kent, Barbara and Ron Einwechter, Jeananne and Charles Lemay, Sharon and Don Yates, Cheryl and Mike Keegan and Janice Williams. Fondly remembered by 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Marion Hall of London, Lillian & Albert May of Ridgetown, and the late Stella Smith, Gladys Burnham, Rose Ross, Edna Gyurkovitz, Edith Cofell, Jean Bunn, Beatrice Dionne, David, Arthur, Frank, Stanley, Artie, Milford (Pete), Billy, and Harry Burnham. Thomas retired after 40 years with Libby's, Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday October 4, 2007 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Michael Maroney of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations, made by cheque to Heart & Stroke Foundation appreciated.
