Obituary of Douglas Hough

HOUGH: Douglas B. “Doug” The Lord took unto himself his loving child Douglas Bruce Hough on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- Chatham Campus, at the age of 64. Born in Collingwood, Ont. to the late Norman and Viola Hough. Loving husband and companion of 35 years to Annie (nee Hoek). Dear son-in-law of Nick and Tina Hoek. Dearly missed by his brothers Marvin and his wife Thelma Hough, Calvin and his wife Lois Hough and his sister Marylin and her husband Carman Culbert. Doug will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews especially Lori and Terri. He will also be dearly missed by the Hoek family- Lena and Jelte Sikkema, Gus and Gerda Hoek, Tina and Dick Dekievit, Bill and Elsie Hoek and Ineke and Adrian Goossen. Doug was employed by the former Kent County School Board where he served as a Transportation Officer until his retirement nine years ago. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 from Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave. E., Chatham. at 11 a.m. Interment at Arnold Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque to the Kidney Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Reformed World Relief Fund would be appreciated by the family.
