Haskell: Cora M. A resident of Blenheim, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in Chatham on Saturday, October 6, 2007 in her 88th year. Born in Blenheim daughter of the late Irving L. and Marguerite (Ashton) Remington. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Walter Haskell (1988) Dear Mother of Marge and Peter Steel of Mason, Michigan, Jerry and Margaret Haskell of Blenheim and the late Robert Haskell (1996). Also surviving is a daughter-in-law Shirley Haskell of Kentville, Nova Scotia. Loved Grandmother of Walter and Melinda Steel, Michael Steel, Peter Steel, Kelly and Ed Patton, Tanya and Gerard WahKan, Juliana Haskell, Melinda and Brett Beswetherick, Tara Haskell and the late Robert Haskell (1994) and Infant Jessica Haskell (1983). Fondly remembered by 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by all her siblings Lillian Shepley, Evelyn Bennett, Joseph and Jack Remington. Mrs. Haskell was a member of Trinity Anglican Church in Blenheim and a former member of the Blenheim Royal Canadian Legion. She and her husband were co-owners of the Cadillac Hotel for many years. The Haskell Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home "Ford Chapel" 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday October 9, 2007 from 2:30-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Trinity Anglican Church, Blenheim on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Fuller officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made by cheque to Trinity Anglican Church or the charity of choice appreciated.
