MALES (ARENS): Elsie A resident of Chatham, Elsie Males (Arens) died at Copper Terrace on Sunday October 7, 2007 at the age of 83. Born in Cedar Springs, daughter of the late Morley Clinton & Mary Virginia (Pilon) Bowden. Loving wife of the late Maurice Arens (1984) and Robert (Bob) Males (2007). Dear mother of Donna Jean Arens (Bruce), Michael Richard Arens (Maureen), all of Chatham, and the late Dennis Arens (1981). Cherished grandmother of Brian Arens (Kim) of Pain Court, Michelle Lucier (Jeff) of Chatham, Ryan Arens (Terra) of Chatham, and Rachael Arens (Dominic) of Windsor. Great grandmother of Hayley and Hayden Lucier, and Mackenzie Arens. Fondly remembered by step-daughter Sherry Anderson (George) of Chatham, and daughter-in-law Jean (Arens) Meyerink of Grande Pointe. Sister of the late Ruth Marie Stewart (Robert), George Frederick Bowden (Mae), and John Richard Bowden. Elsie was a life member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28 Ladies Auxillary. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday October 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Branch 28 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary will conduct a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Donations, made by cheque to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or Diabetes Association appreciated.
