DeVITO: Gervasia (Gina). A resident of Blenheim, Mrs. Gervasia (Gina) DeVito passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the age of 78. Born in Montemarano, Italy, daughter of the late Giovanni and Filomena (Gallo) Mongiello. Beloved wife of the late Generoso (Joe) DeVito (2002). Dear mother of Pauline and Glen Marshall of Oakville, Tony and Shirley DeVito of Blenheim, and John and Laurie DeVito of Toronto. Grandmother of Candace Marshall, Sophia, Chris, Benjamin and Chelsea DeVito. Sister of Maria Ceccacci of Blenheim and her late husband Sigismondo, Pasquale and Rosetta Mongiello of Italy, and predeceased by sister Giuseppina Mongiello (2006). Sister-in-law of Mario and Marie Antonio DeVito of Chatham, Sigismondo and Antoinette DeVito of Blenheim, and 1 sister-in-law and 7 brothers-in-law in Italy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home “Ford Chapel”, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. Evening visitation will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Blenheim, beginning with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Blenheim on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
