Obituary of Beverly Gillett

GILLETT: Beverly “Bev” Edward, a resident of Chatham, Bev Gillett passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at the age of 79. Born in Dover Township to the late Edward and Eva (Thorpe) Gillett. Beloved husband of 42 years of Gayle (Coll) Gillett. Loving father of Sherry & Bill Eenink of Chatham, Lynnda & Jake Feyen of Norwich, Sandra & David Moon of Lighthouse Cove, Heather Gillett of Chatham, and Colleen Gillett of Chatham, and special grand daughter Megan Gillett of Chatham. He will be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Bev is survived by sister Donna Tremblay and brother Lorne & Betty Gillett. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Bev was predeceased by his first wife Betty Doris (Bartram) Gillett in 1963. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007, from the Funeral Home with Rev. William. Koopmans officiating. Memorial donations may be made at the Funeral Home to the charity of one’s choice.
