SKIPPER: Douglas A resident of Chatham, Douglas W. Skipper “Candy Man” died at London Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at the age of 74. Born in Tilbury East, son of the late Walter and Mabel Skipper. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Hazzard) Skipper (December 2006) Loving father of Kirk & Jamie Skipper, Chatham; Kevin & Barbara Skipper, Chatham; and Kelly Lindsay (Skipper), Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Jackie & Kevin Houlroyd, Connecticut; Sarah & Dave Pegg, Cambridge; Erica, Chatham; Nicolas, Windsor; Robbi-Lyn, Chatham; Veronica, Sarnia; Parker, Watford; Mason, Sarnia; Ian, Sarnia; and Jacob, Chatham. Dear brother of Kenneth & Doreen Skipper, Chatham; and the late Barbara Howard (1993). Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Don Howard & Carolyn Britton, Chatham. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Doug was a retiree of Union Gas. He worked for several years as a greeter at Walmart.
