Lowther: Doris H. a resident of Chatham died peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Born in Ross’ Corner, Prince Edward Island, daughter of the late Percy and Myrtle (Cudmore) Tucker. Loving wife of the late Fred Lowther (1999) for 66 years. Dear mother of Garth Lowther and his wife Marlene of Chatham and John Lowther and his wife Kim of Bayfield. Grandmother of John Lowther (Sue) of New Brunswick, and children Trevor and Erica and great-great-granddaughter Lavina; Michele Jenner (Andy) of Chatham and children Krys (Dave), Sarah and Heather; Christopher of Chatham, and children Janet and Christine; Michael Lowther (Sue) of Chatham and children Amy, Jill and Laura; David (Kim) of Ottawa and son Nicholas. Sister of Norm Tucker (Carolyn) of Markham and the late Helen Moore, Jean Reeve and William Tucker. Doris was a long time member of Park Street United Church. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday, November 12, 2007 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Curtis Marwood officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to Charity of Choice appreciated.
