Obituary of Joseph 'Joe' Henry Vandermeer

VANDERMEER: Joseph “Joe” Henry, a resident of Blenheim, Joe Vandermeer died after a courageous battle as a result of an accident, on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the London Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 44. Born in Chatham to the late Jocghum & Anna (Wynsma) Vandermeer. Joe is survived by his son Joey, his sister Ruth Sprik, his brothers Bill & Nancy, Mike & Kari, and sister in-law Fran. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He is predeceased by brothers Broer Jocghum, and Tony. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007. A Funeral Service for Joe will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 from the funeral home. Cremation with interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Trust Fund for Joey Vandermeer would be much appreciated.
