CROW: Robert Q. A resident of Ridgetown, Robert Q. Crow passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the age of 77. Born in Chatham, son of the late Malcolm and Alice (Burton) Crow. Beloved husband of Beverley (Bechard) Crow. Dear father of Judy Doidge and her husband Brian of Ridgetown, Elaine Farrell and her husband Jim of Ridgetown, Ronald Crow and his wife Martha of Ridgetown, Larry Crow and his wife Louise of Chatham, and Randy Crow and his wife Marilyn of Ridgetown. Grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 9. Brother of Kathleen and Jack Leslie of Chatham, William and Joyce Crow of Chatham, Linda Caron of Chatham, and predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Brother-in-law of Jeannette and Norm Owen of Chatham, Ivan and Dora Bechard of Chatham, Vern and Marylou Bechard of Markham, Jerome and Susan Bechard of London, Girard and Margo Bechard of Chatham, and Norbert Bechard of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Robert was a building contractor and former owner of Superior Propane, a retired cash crop and livestock farmer, and former owner of Nu-Rock Concrete. He invented the patent for Gobi-Mats, and built and operated Ye Olde Crow's Nest, Ridgetown. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett officiating. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Howard Township. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
