WINTER: Doreen Bernice. A resident of Blenheim Community Village and formerly of Ridgetown, Doreen Winter passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the age of 86. Born in Chatham Township, daughter of the late Nelson and Marion (Burrell) Yott. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vernon Gerald Winter (1996) and son Edward Dean Winter (1990). Mother of Donald (Judy) Winter of Bothwell, Ruth Caron of Sarnia, and Marion (Robert) Martin of Ridgetown. Grandmother of Denise, Kate, Shelley, David, Terri, Jenny, Brian, and the late Keith, Brad, and Tracey. Great-grandmother of Jenny and Justin, Kimberly and Bradley, MacKenzie and Bryce, Tawnya and Nicole, Cody and Brandon, Dylan, Kelsy, and Makenzie. Sister of Verlyn Martin of Chatham, Lorne and Alma Yott of Chatham, Shirley Barnwell of London, and the late Almeda Brown, Edward Yott, Joseph Yott, Paul Yott, and Louis Yott. Sister-in-law of Grace Yott of Chatham. Mrs. Winter was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown and the C.W.L. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
