PHILLIPS: Bernice A resident of Chatham, Bernice Phillips, died suddenly as the result of an accident on Saturday November 24, 2007 at the age of 83. Born in Zone Township, daughter of the late John Wesley & Grace Caroline (Reynolds) Kelly. Beloved wife of the late Morley Phillips (1981). Loving mother of Wayne & Teri Phillips of St. Thomas, and Dennis & Myrna Phillips of Sea Foam, Nova Scotia. Cherished grandmother of Wendy & Thom of Halifax, Paul & Lorraine of Turo, Nova Scotia; and great grandmother of Taylor, Jorja, Morley, and Alex. Dear sister of the late Bruce Kelly and Verna Neaves. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Margaret Kelly of Chatham. Bernice was an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, A.C.W., and a member of the “Pie Ladies” for many years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Bernice and Verna will be conducted at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk Street, Chatham on Wednesday November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Family Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
