NEAVES: Verna A resident of Chatham, Verna Neaves died suddenly as the result of an accident on Saturday November 24, 2007 at the age of 82. Born in Camden Township, daughter of the late John Wesley & Grace Caroline (Reynolds) Kelly. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Neaves (1998). Loving mother of Larry & Bonnie Neaves, and Carol Neaves, all of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Larry & Jen Neaves of London, Jean & Ed VanVeen of Emeryville, Amy Neaves & Ken Mulcahy of Chatham; and great grandmother of Brandon, Erin, Megan, Matthew & Katelynn. Dear sister of the late Bruce Kelly and Bernice Phillips. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Margaret Kelly of Chatham. Verna was an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, A.C.W., and the “Pie Ladies” for many years. She worked at A & P Grocery in Chatham for many years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Verna and Bernice will be conducted at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk Street, Chatham on Wednesday November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Family Interment at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of one’s choice appreciated.
