Obituary of Lawrence White

WHITE: Lawrence “Larry” Burton: A resident of Chatham, Larry White died on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 65. Born in Chatham, son of the late Geoffrey Burton and Gwendoline Phyllis (Molson) White. Beloved husband of Mary Jean (Laprise) White. Loving father of Geoff White and his fiancé Shanonn O’Connor of Chatham and Pam (White) Kuipers and her husband Ryan, also of Chatham. Grandfather of Kierra and Kenzie Kuipers. Brother of Gwendoline Hudson and her husband James of Ridgetown and the late Ken White (1990). Brother-in-law of Sandra White, Bob and Cathy Laprise, Shirlie and Pete deJong, Doreen and Louis Levesque, Diane and Phil Jacques, Paul Laprise and Roger Laprise, all of Chatham-Kent. Larry will be missed by many nieces and nephews and his inseparable canine companion “Jake”. He was a longtime member of the I.B.E.W. and retired in 2002. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 2”00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from the Funeral Home with The Rev.
