Obituary of Claudette Brablec

BRABLEC: Claudette L. (Blair), a resident of Mitchell’s Bay, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at home, age 44, peacefully with her loving husband Mike Brablec and loving sister Annette Blair at her side. Born in Chatham, cherished daughter of James & Shirley (Peltier) Blair, of Pain Court. Beloved sister of Annette of Chatham, Jerome & Gail of Pain Court, and James of Chatham. Daughter in-law of Frank & the late Elaine Brablec, sister in-law of Lorie & Greg Gore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Cynthia and Sarah Blair-Toomer, Andraya and Joshua Blair, Katie and Nicole Blair, and Ryan and Kadi Gore and great nephew Cedric Blair-Toomer. Claudette worked for Maple City Marine for many years as the office administrator. She was a member of the Pretty in Pink team- a team of fun loving, caring ladies raising thousands of dollars for the fight against cancer. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Claudette will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Pain Court, with Rev. Fr. Eugene Roy celebrant. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Foundation of the C.K.H.A.- Oncology Department, in memory of Claudette’s Pretty in Pink Team.
