FURMAN: Charles (Larry). A resident of Blenheim, Larry Furman passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at home on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, son of the late Gerald and Jean (Pickering) Furman. Predeceased by his step-father Lloyl Burchiel (1986). Beloved husband of Loretta (Smith) Brown for 35 years. Dear step-father of Deb Pinsonneault of Chatham, Brenda and Mike McNear of Blenheim, Jim and Bobbi Brown of Ridgetown, and Shelley Brown and Chuck Howard of Chatham. Poppy will be missed by his grandchildren Sarah (Pinsonneault) and Adam Steel, Jim (Bummer) Brown, Jason Pinsonneault, Jodi McNear, Joshua, Jacob, and Jessie Brown. Brother of Marie and Flip Vandersluis of Blenheim, Don and Ann Furman of Morpeth, Gord Burchiel of Chatham, and the late June Knowler (2006) and her husband Wayne of R.R.#7 Blenheim. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Larry was a longtime employee of Huron Construction and enjoyed fishing and golfing. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home "Ford Chapel", 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. David Fuller officiating. Cremation with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
