Desmond, Lillian Roberta (Bobbie), a resident of R.R. #1, Ridgetown died peacefully at home on Monday December 24, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick daughter of the late Robert Bruce & Lillian Agnes (Whitehouse) Irving. Mrs. Desmond taught elementary school for 21 years (1966-1987) for Peel County School Board. Dearest mother of Dr. Donald & Barbara Desmond, Georgetown; Douglas Desmond, R.R. #1, Ridgetown; Dr. David & Suzanne Desmond, Georgetown; Daniel & Martha Desmond, Sanford, Florida and Dianne Desmond Schmoll and Alex Schmoll, Ilderton. Grandmother of Brett Miller, Tom, Dan, Alex, Kristina, Morgan, & Fraser Desmond; David, Danielle & Nathan Schmoll. Sister of Gladys & Bert Reitter, Willowdale and the late Irene Forster. Sister-in-law of Vernon Forster, Campbellton, New Brunswick and the late J. Ralph & Audrey Desmond. Aunt of Bruce Irving, Brian Forster, Steven Reitter and Lianne Reitter Carson. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St., E., Ridgetown on Thursday December 27, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, R.R. #1, Ridgetown on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
