Obituary of Harry Stewart

STEWART: C. Harry. A resident of Rondeau Park and formerly of Blenheim, Harry Stewart passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the age of 79. Born in Detroit, son of the late Sid and Elizabeth (Stephenson) Stewart. Beloved spouse of Molly Meloche. Harry will be fondly remembered by Molly's children, Kelly, Shawn, and Penna Meloche, all of Dearborn. Dear brother of Jack and Lucy Stewart of Nevada, Bill and Pat Stewart of London, Ann Pickering of Chatham and the late Allan and Phyllis Stewart, and Wilfred and Pat Stewart. Also survived by his uncle Gordon and Sylvia Stephenson of St. Catharines, and his aunt Ann Thomas of Chatham. Harry will also be missed by Betty and Garnet Hebblethwaite and family of New Scotland, Dorothy Perrodou and family of Rondeau, Isabel and Doug Brown and family of Westland, and several nieces and nephews. Harry sailed aboard Shell Oil Tankers for over 35 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #185 Blenheim. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date. Donations in Harry's honour to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, Royal Canadian Legion Br. #185 Blenheim (Poppy Fund) or charity of choice would be appreciated.
