Obituary of E. Ruth Myers

MYERS: Eleanor “Ruth”. A resident of Ridgetown, Ruth Myers died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at the age of 74. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Roy & Margaret (Jackson) Jenner. Beloved wife of Francis Myers. Loving mother of Sharon Vandenberg (John) of Mt. Brydges, Kenneth Myers (Deb) of Muirkirk, Liz Dieleman (Wayne) of Port Stanley, Paul Myers of McKay’s Corners, Allison Humphrey (Russ) of Thamesville, and the late David Myers (1963). Cherished grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Jean Agar (Alfred) of Woodstock, Katherine Whittington (Richard) of Chatham, Martha Kirkpatrick (Donald) of Chatham, and the late Shirley Marlatt (companion Nick). Fondly remembered by brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph Myers (Nettie), Rose Marie Myers, Helen MacKenzie (late Donald), Orvilla Myers, Edna Blommers (John), Ray Myers (Karen), Roland Myers (Kay), Annette Laidlaw, and the late Armand Myers. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was a member of St. Michaels C.W.L., Ridgetown. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Saturday January 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev.
