Obituary of Coleen Hasson

Hasson: Nancy Coleen, a resident of Chatham. Coleen Hasson (Walden) passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday January 4, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Born in Chatham daughter of the late Carle and Mildred (Jones) Walden. Coleen died after a very valiant struggle with leukemia. She leaves an adoring husband, Cliffie, and two loving daughters, Charlotte Hasson and Cindy Guerin (Kirk) all of Chatham. Coleen will be forever missed by her four grandchildren, Rachel, Ben, Emily & Joel Guerin. Also survived by a brother Bev Walden (Marion), and two nephews and many cousins. Coleen was a former teacher with the L.K.D.S.B. and retired in 2004. She was an active member of St. Andrew’s United Church and formerly of Park Street United Church having served as a dedicated choir member at both churches. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday January 6, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church with Rev. Michael Brooks officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
