Obituary of Roy Glen Minall

MINALL: Roy Glen passed away peacefully at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Monday, January 21st, 2008 at 81 years of age. A resident of Chatham, Roy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Cecile, their 5 children: daughter Patricia Minall; son Gary Minall and his wife Kim; son Barry Minall and his wife Joanne; daughter Cathy Johnson and her husband Bill; and daughter Keri Parker-Demeter and her husband Patrick. Roy was a loving and caring grandfather (Papa) to his 10 grandchildren Erik, Kristen and her husband Claudio, Michael, Adam, Dani, Emily, Gabrielle, Kyley, Justine and Connor and to his 2 great-grandchildren Brendan and Ingrid. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair Street in Chatham on Thursday, January 24th, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 3:00 pm. and a Knights of Columbus Service at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 25th, 2008, at St. Agnes Parish, 52 Croydon Street in Chatham with Fr. Hurley celebrant. Memorial donations can be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
