Heatherington: Ora Villa. A resident of R.R.#2, Merlin and formerly of Blenheim, O. Villa Heatherington passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the age of 88. Born in Tilbury East Township, September 12, 1919, daughter of the late Guy Mifflin and Rose (Jeffery) Mifflin. Beloved wife of the late Mac L. Heatherington (1997). Dear mother of Judy and Jerry Blake Sr. of Wallaceburg, Shawna and Bill Foster of R.R.#2, Merlin, Arvin and Cheryl Heatherington of Cedar Springs, and Roger Heatherington of Cedar Springs. Loved grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Predeceased by sisters Pearl Toomer and Lorna Haskell. Recently predeceased by her brother George Mifflin in January of 2008. She was a devoted member of the Blenheim Baptist Church and also served her church as a member of the Ladies Aid and Mission Circle. The Heatherington family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home “Ford Chapel”, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Blenheim Baptist Church on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Leamington. Donations to the Blenheim Baptist Church Building Fund/Handicap Lift appreciated.
