MILLARD, David “Dave” Raymond: A lifelong resident of Chatham Township, Dave Millard died on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus at the age of 71. Born in Chatham Township, son of the late Raymond and Helen (Hetherington) Millard. Beloved husband of Janet (Smith) Millard for 47 years. Loving father of Tom and Dianne Millard of Dover Township, Alec Millard of Chatham, Eric Millard and his fiancé Mandy Jubenville of Chatham and Jim and Michelle Millard of Chatham Township. Grandfather of Sarah, Lindsay, Nicole, Jarret and Kenton. Brother of Robert and Ann Millard of Chatham Township and Jack and Kathy Millard of Vernon. Brother-in-law of Inez Hay of B.C., Homer and Sally Smith of B.C., Mary and Ross Williams of Chatham, Margaret Smith of Chatham, Charles Fay of Michigan and the late Gordon Smith, Rhea Fay, Archie Smith, Donald Smith, Martin Smith and Maurice Smith. Dave is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special cousins. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of New St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where he was a Clerk of Session. Dave was a former member of the Chatham Township Planning Board and a member of the first graduating class of Ridgetown College in 1953. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2008 from the Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Aarssen and Pastor Alex Moir officiating.
