Teetzel: Eric Allan. A resident of R. R. # 2 Highgate, Eric A. Teetzel passed away at his home on Thursday February 14, 2008 at the age 80 years. Born in Orford Twsp., son of the late Clifford and Mary M. (Houghton) Teetzel. Beloved husband of Shirley A. (Knapp) Teetzel. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Beatrice A. (McEachran) Teetzel (2003). Dear father of Ted & Dawn Teetzel of R. R. # 3 Bothwell, Dennis and Leslie Teetzel of R. R. # 2 Highgate and Sandra and Jody Rumble of R.R. # 1 Highgate. Grandfather of Sarah and Bob Van Goethem of Highgate, Kate and Anson Boak of Highgate, Michelle and Nate Stevens of Kitchener, Allan Teetzel of R.R. # 2 Highgate, Derek Rumble of Scarborough and the late Andrea Rumble (1991). Great Grandfather of Sadie, Gracie, Liam, Kirsten and Kael Brother of Cardwell and Muriel Teetzel of R.R. # 1 Highgate. Eric loved people, was a lifetime farmer, A Paul Harris Ridgetown Rotarian and a member of the Ontario Flying Farmers. The Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Saturday February 16, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
