Obituary of Clifford Civalier

Civalier: Clifford A resident of Chatham formerly of Raleigh Township, Clifford Civalier passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- Chatham Campus peacefully with his four daughters by his side on February 24, 2008 at the age of 74. Born in Raleigh Township to the late Garnet & Bertha Civalier. Loving husband of 47 years to the late June Helen (nee Stokes) (2004). Loving father of Liz and Mike Pace and their son Kyle, Janice and Steve Stubitz and their sons Shawn and Jason, Laura and Mike Franklin and their daughters Nicole and Melissa, Pat and Roy Weaver and their children Chelsea and Hayden all of Chatham. Clifford will be dearly missed by his best friend and sister Ann Watson. Brother in law of Ruth Wood of R.R.#1 Blenheim, Grace Lundy of R.R.#6 Dresden, Lyla and Tom Richardson of R.R.#3 Chatham, Ross and Faye Stokes of Dover Centre, Grant and Joan Stokes of Chatham, Valere Vannieuwenhuyze of Chatham. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Jim Watson Sr., Jim Wood, Robert Lundy and his sister-in-law Irene Vannieuwenhuyze. Cliff was devoted member of Providence United Church. He will also be forever remembered as a dedicated farmer in Kent County. The memory of his friendship will remain with all his friends in the Card community and those at Tim Hortons on Keil Drive. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost a proud and life long dedicated fan. They will miss him dearly along with will all of us. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday February 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Pat Milliken officiating. Memorial donations to honour Cliff’s life may be made to the Providence United Church and would be truly appreciated by the family.
