Obituary of Blanche Jee

JEE: Blanche Bertie (McDonald). It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Blanche, surrounded by her family on February 26, 2008, at Copper Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 82. Born in Elgin County, the daughter of the Late Roy and Ruby McDonald. Predeceased by her loving husband William Arthur Jee in 1986. They have now been reunited once again. Beloved Mum of David Jee and his wife Bev of Chatham, Alan Jee and his wife Sally of Highgate, Anne Eskritt and her husband Tim of Chatham and Wayne Jee and his wife Cheryl of Chatham. Grandma will be sadly missed by 10 Grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave), Trevor (Marianne), Stacey (Kevin), Peter (Michelle), Jason (Mel), Tricia, Garnet (Vicki), Kris (Stuart), Nicole (Josh) and Kim. Special Great Grandmother of 19, Ryan, Larissa, Josh, Daniel, Matthew, Austin, Kaitlyn, Julia, Krystal, Briana, Braden, Curtis, Dominique, Sierra, Olivia, Matthew, Meagan, Avery and Alaina. Predeceased by her twin brother Ross and sister Evelyn. Survived by her brother Ray (Marion) McDonald of Michigan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Her generous and kind nature will be remembered by many. Family and Friends are invited to the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St.Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday February 28, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to share their special memories and prayers. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday February 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around your neck dear Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma, you leave behind a wonderful legacy.
