Obituary of Melinda McDermott

McDermott: Melinda Donna Mae A resident of Chatham, formerly of Essex, Melinda McDermott died suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on March 11, 2008 at the age of 61. Born in St. Joachim, daughter of the late Evelyn Laporte. Dear mother of Ken and Geri Cabana, Colette and Andre Augustynowicz, Ron and Megan McDermott. Proud Mimi of Taylor, Ryan, Duncan, Conner, Faith and Logan. Dear sister-in-law of Roger Curtis. Predeceased by her twin sister Lucinda Donna Jean Curtis (2001). Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 12:30 p.m. until the Memorial Service to celebrate Melinda’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Ken Powell officiating. Memorial donations to honour Melinda’s life can be made to the Glad Tidings Community Church Bible Garden and would be appreciated by the family. A special thank-you is extended by all of Melinda’s family, to the Medical and Nursing Staff at the CKHA-Chatham Campus for the tremendous care and compassion given to us and our mother. Thank-you.
