McKINLAY: Kathryn Clare. A resident of R. R # 2 Blenheim, Kathryn C. McKinlay passed away after a brief illness at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday March 29, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Born in Blenheim, daughter of the late John D. and Clare (Neilson) McGregor. Beloved wife of R. Allan McKinlay. Dear mother of Janet and Joe Legue of Dorchester, Margot and Gord Bickell of Little Current, Jim and Mary McKinlay of R.R. # 2 Blenheim, Martha & David Wickware of Montreal and JoAnn & Dan Nead of Toronto. Grandmother of 13 Grandchildren. Sister of the late JoAnn Cunning. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Margaret Thompson of R. R # 2 Blenheim and Edith McKinlay of Morpeth. Kathy was a member of Erie Street United Church and the former Morpeth United Church. She was an avid golfer and curler, enjoyed playing bridge, and spending time at the Ridgetown Seniors Centre. The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Judith Fayter officiating. Interment of cremated remains at a later date.
