Obituary of Eileen Blake

BLAKE: Eileen A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Wallaceburg, Eileen Pearl Blake died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday March 30, 2008 at the age of 86. Born in Raleigh Township, daughter of the late Martin & Grace Leach. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Blake (1987). Dear sister of the late Marion Stevenson (Ray), Margaret Arnold (Lou), Elizabeth Matthew (Howard), and Garnet Leach. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Gladys Leach of Blenheim, as well as several nieces and nephews. Dear aunt of Gary Stevenson and his partner Elizabeth Craievich who lovingly cared for Eileen for the past number of years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday April 3, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Frank Leslie officiating. Cremation with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. If desired, donations made to Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation appreciated.
