Obituary of R. Laurin Gagner

GAGNER: Raoul Laurin a resident of Chatham. R. Laurin Gagner died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, son of the late Raoul & Irene (Daniel) Gagner. Beloved mate of Vicki Visnapuu. Dear father of Celeste & Daniel Jones, Chatham; Chris & Jackie Gagner, Chatham; and Vince & Jennifer Gagner, Chatham. “Pepe” of 8 grandchildren. Brother of Yvette Pigeon, Ottawa; Ronald & Belinda Gagner, Tilbury and Jackie & Fred Vincent, California. Also survived by his faithful dog Joey. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Pain Court with Rev. Fr. Eugene Roy celebrant. Cremation with Interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Pain Court. Donations made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
