Dickson: Margaret B. (nee Simpson) A resident of Chatham formerly of Clachan and Blenheim, Margaret Dickson passed away at the Village Retirement Residence in Ridgetown on April 12, 2008 at the age of 87. Loving wife of Dennis A. Dickson. Dear mother of Bob & Cheryl Dickson, Anne & Jim Sifton, Paul & Karen Dickson, Proud grandmother to Gerod & Lesley Dickson, William & Elisa MacMillan, Rob Sifton & Leah Scott, Heather & Strahn McCarten, Cory Dickson, Calie Dickson, Amy & Josh Larson, Jason Beutler, along with 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Dave & Dorothy Simpson, Jim & Lenore Simpson. Predeceased by her sister Grace Smith and brother-in-law Alex Smith. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham (519 351-2040) on Wednesday from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. also on Thursday April 17, 2008 at Sprucedale United Church 493 Victoria Ave. from 10 a.m. until the Memorial service at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Riverview Gardens, Wallaceburg at a later date. Memorial donations to honour Margaret’s life can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sprucedale United Church and would be appreciated by the family.
