Obituary of Garry Whaling

WHALING: Garry Joseph a resident of Lakeshore, Ontario and formerly Chatham. Garry J. Whaling died suddenly on Saturday April 12, 2008 at the age of 53. Born in Chatham son of Nancy Whaling & Ross Hunter, Chatham and the late H. Pat Whaling. Garry was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 552. Beloved father of Trevor Whaling and his companion Krista Schiefer, Windsor. Dear brother of Chuck & Donna Whaling, Windsor; Carolyn & Al Birkby, Chatham; Linda & Al Driessens, Chatham; Mary-Ellen & Greg Trepanier, Tecumseh; Christine & Mark Myers, Chatham; Kerry & Brian Henderson, Dover Center and Kelly Butcher, Chatham. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett officiating. Cremation with interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Charity of Choice appreciated.
