GOSLIN: Ruby Having lived a thankful life, Ruby Alice Myrtle Tanner Goslin, a resident of Chatham, was graciously lifted up by the angels in heaven on Friday April 18, 2008. Born in Enniskillen Township, daughter of the late LaVerne & Myrtle (Metcalf) Tanner. Beloved wife of 51 years to her “Sweetie” the late William Goslin (2004). Loving mother of Gwen Kay of Chatham, Crystle & Ben Hum of Naperville, Illinois, and Barry & Evelyn Goslin of Waterdown. Predeceased by her son-in-law Dennis Kay (2002). Cherished grandmother of Becky & Yvan Nugent, Meagan & Scott Keats, Brian, Eric, and James Hum, Linda and Stella Goslin. Dear sister of Lee Tanner and Bloss Tanner, both of Petrolia, Donna Anderson of Oil Springs, Phyllis Jackson, Elaine Burt, and Wilda Todd, all of London, Inez McLean of Hanover, Yvonne Soulard of Sarnia, Kathleen Freer of Tiverton, and the late Lyle Tanner and Earl Tanner. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime friends Bea & Tom Oliphant. Ruby worked at Public General Hospital for 39 years in Admitting and 2 Centre. She was alongtime member of Park Street United Church and Unit 7 U.C.W., and more recently of St. Andrew’s United Church and U.C.W. She also enjoyed being a member of the Active Lifestyle Centre. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday April 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Family Interment Service at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
