Obituary of Roland Forget

Forget: Roland Patrick. A resident of Windsor and formerly of Blenheim, Roland P. Forget passed away at the Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the age of 91. Born in Windsor, Ontario son of the late Ovide and Minnie (Ducharme) Forget. Beloved husband of the late Fleur Anne (Barrette) Forget (1989). Dear father of Carol Ann and Robert Johnston of Prairie Siding, Barbara Jean and Al Cleary of Scarborough, Patrick and Ona Forget of R.R.#1, Charing Cross, Angela and Terry Martin of Windsor, Annette and Harold Taylor of Kamloops, B.C., and Robert and Cheryl Forget of R.R.#1, Charing Cross. Cherished grandfather of Robin, David, Shannon, Shawn, Dale, Jason, Stephen, Joline, Dawn, Jason, James, Amanda and Michael. Great-grandfather of Amber, Kathryn, Robert, Chelsea, Giselle, Caitline, Riley, Tyler, Madison, Andrea and Britany and great-great granddaughter Emily. Brother of Guy and Norma Forget of Windsor and the late Ted Forget and his wife Kathryn and the late Charlie Forget. Also surviving is his sister-in-law Genivieve Forget of Vancouver. He was a retired employee after 37 years as a maintenance supervisor with Libby McNeil and Libby/Nestle Canada Inc. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 95 Marlborough Street N., Blenheim on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
