Obituary of Matthew 'Matt' Iwanchun

IWANCHUN: Matthew ‘Matt’ Hilton, A resident of Chatham, Matt Iwanchun died on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, in his 18th year. Born in Chatham he is the cherished son of Sylvie Beauvais and Steve Iwanchun (Valerie Haysum), and beloved brother of Jacques Beauvais. Matt was the loving grandson of Claude & Theresa Beauvais and John & Loretta Iwanchun. He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles: Chris Beauvais (Charlotte), Mary Beauvais (Roger Sauve), Penny Bourgeois, and Rick Iwanchun (Margie Foisey). He will be missed by his cousins: Allan, Melissa, Jessica, Collin, Charlyze, Christopher, Brandon, Danielle, Jenna, Joey, and Mikita. Matthew was a student at John McGregor Secondary School and spent most of his childhood in Blenheim. He was a big fan of the Greenbay Packers and the Vancouver Canucks. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Al McIntyre. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations made in Matt’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Epilepsy Ontario are welcomed.
