Field, Dorothy, a resident of Chatham. Dorothy Field died Friday ,May 16, 2008 at the Chatham - Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 83. Born in Mattawa, Ontario, daughter of the late Risk and Martha (Joseph) Monsour. Beloved wife of 59 years of Orland Field. Cherished and dear mother of Donna and her husband Dr. Bruce Warwick, Chatham, and special daughter Lyn Wells, (Merv), Ottawa. Devoted and adored Grandmother of Devon and Katie. Survived by brother Nick Monsour and sister Georgette (Lester) Law, London. Pre-deceased by sisters Lily Nihmey, Edna Zion, Rose Graham, and Mary Monsour. Sister-in-law of Peter Graham, Montreal. Favourite aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Field was a highly respected and regarded teacher at Taylor Avenue and Queen Mary Elementary Schools, having retired in 1983. She was an active bridge player, a former member of the I.O.D.E. and an involved member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Karen Nelles of St. Paul's Anglican Church officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
