Obituary of Marion Chapple

CHAPPLE: Marion Carrie (Kendall), A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Tilbury and Charing Cross, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, at the age of 84. Born in Harwich Township to the late William Elmer & Fannie Esther (Knott) Kendall. Beloved mother of Carol Libert of Chatham, Don & Peggy Chapple of Blenheim, Sharon Beintema of Windsor, and Roger & Satina Chapple of Chatham. Dear companion of Tom Sullivan of Tilbury, and predeceased by former husband Don Chapple. Marion will be missed by her grandchildren; Darren Libert of Windsor, Aliesha Libert of St. Thomas, Craig Chapple & Tracey Forrester of Newberry, Kelly & Rick Roy of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Dawn Anne Chapple of Blenheim, James Beintema & Wendy Barron of Windsor, Rebecca Beintema of Calgary, Christina & Juventino Villagrana, Brian Chapple, Amber Chapple, and great grandson Chase Roy. She is survived by brother George Kendall of Thamesville and sister Lillian & William Cranston of Wheatly. Predeceased by brothers Carl, Elmer, and Norman Kendall, and sister Edith Kendall. Marion has been a long time member of Charing Cross United Church and enjoyed spending time at the Active Lifestyles Centre. Marion’s family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Thursday, May 22, 2008, from 2:00-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008, from the Funeral Home, with Rev. Margaret Trapnell officiating. Interment to follow at Arnold Cemetery. Memorial donations made to The Arthritis Society are welcomed.
