SMITH: Robert J. “Bob” A resident of Chatham, Bob Smith died peacefully at home on Thursday June 12, 2008 at the age of 60. Born in Chatham, beloved son of Robert F. Smith of Chatham, and the late Dorothy Smith (2007). Loving husband of Pat (Worthington) Smith. Dear father of Robert Smith & Kaileen of Chatham, Blair Smith & Nadia, and David Smith, all of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by Pat’s children Patrick McGuire & Sheri of Woodstock, Collin McGuire & Christine of Wallaceburg, Trevor Kerr, and Daniel Kerr, both of Montreal. Cherished grandfather of Elisha, Robert, Ally, Patrick, and Lauren. Brother of Donald Smith & Lucianne of Dresden. Bob was a longtime member of Branch 628 Royal Canadian Legion. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 628 will conduct a Memorial Service for their comrade at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday June 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
