Obituary of Eileen Robinson

Robinson: Viola Eileen (nee Geddes) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Robinson at the Residence on the Thames in Chatham on Sunday June 15, 2008 at the age of 91. Born on September 20, 1916 in Snow Road, Ontario. Daughter of the late John and Blanch Geddes. Beloved wife of the late George Robinson (1993). Eileen is also predeceased by her siblings Hilda, Ralph (Jesse), Jim (Betty) Geddes and Kay (Rankin) Barrie. Eileen trained as a nurse at Kingston General Hospital. She and George travelled to many places with his work and always made lasting friendships. Eileen leaves behind her much loved nieces & nephews in Eastern Ontario. She moved to Chatham six years ago to be close to her “adopted” family- Tom, Beth, Katie, Lynn (fiancé Brent Hyslek), Emily, Jim, Maggie, Alec and Jonathan Olsen. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday June 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Pastors Peter Burrill and Brian Gledall co-officiating. Cremation with interment in Snow Road, Ontario at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
