KENNEDY: Gordon Douglas. A resident of Ridgetown, Gord Kennedy passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the age of 77. Born in Windsor, son of the late Robert and Lorna (Cromar) Kennedy. Beloved husband of Shirley (Brooks) Kennedy. Dear father of Jerry and Dianne Kennedy of Ridgetown, Paul and Janice Kennedy of Ridgetown, Kelly Kennedy and Nancy Charron of R.R.#4 Blenheim, and Jeff and Lori Kennedy of R.R.#2 Ridgetown. Grandfather of Robert and Hilda Kennedy, Brent and Liz Kennedy, Megan Kennedy and Jason, Deryck Kennedy and Jessica, Tara McGuire, Greg McGuire, Katie McGuire, and Shawn Kennedy. Great-grandfather of Lerika and Livia. Brother of Dick Kennedy and Evelyn of Elliot Lake, and the late Lorne Kennedy. Brother-in-law of Wanda Kennedy of Windsor, Trevor and Betty Brooks of London, Earl Brooks of Kitchener, and Gordon Brooks of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Alan McIntyre officiating.
