CROSS: Ila. A resident of Wallaceburg and formerly of Chatham, Ila Cross passed away at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg on Monday, July 7, 2008 at the age of 98. Born in Bothwell, daughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Miller) Brown. Beloved wife of the late Rodger Cross (1998). Dear mother of the late Marsha Lee Smyth (2008). Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Gary Smyth of Harrison Township, Michigan. Grandmother of Gary Smyth and Courtney of Shelby Township, Michigan, Liane Bilicki and Jerry of Madison Heights, Michigan, and Erin Peck and Joe of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Great-grandmother of Keenan and Devin Smyth, Nicholas Peck, and Katie Bilicki. Mrs. Cross was the last surviving sibling of her family. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 12:30 p.m until 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service to immediately follow at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Alan McIntyre officiating.
