GROCOTT: Allan "Red" a resident of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Thursday July 10, 2008, at the age of 75.Beloved husband of the late Violet Marie Grocott (Mullaly). Born in Chatham, Ontario 1932, son of the late Sidney W. & Gladys (Atkinson) Grocott. Red was a retired Chatham firefighter, who served between January 1st 1959-May 27 1992. Dear father of Paul Grocott and his wife Pauline of Chatham, and Jane Harwood and her husband Craig of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Kaelan, Mackenzie, Dava, and Sidney. Also surviving are sisters Donna Neff, and her husband Bill, and Mary-Joyce Rossignol, and her husband Aldeo. Special friend to Marie Brock of Blenheim Ontario. Friends and relatives may call at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St, Clair Street Chatham, from 2-4 pm on Saturday, 2-4 pm , and 7-9 pm on Sunday. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 1:30pm at McKinlay Funeral Home. Burial will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham.
