Obituary of Betty Grace Wonnacott

Wonnacott: Betty Grace (nee Marshall) A resident of Chatham, Betty Wonnacott passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 83. Born in Chatham daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel (Lowry) Marshall. Beloved wife of Stanley Wonnacott. Dear mother to Wayne and Linda Wonnacott of Chatham and mother-in-law to Linda Wonnacott of Calgary. Predeceased by her son John (1993). Proud grandmother to Deb (Jim) of Aurora, Carol (Peter) of Toronto, Barb (Craig) of Calgary, Cheryl (Mike) Stewart of Chatham and Brent Wonnacott of Toronto. Great-grandmother to Jacob, Ryan and Avery. Predeceased by her brothers Neil and Max; sister-in-law Ferne Atkinson; her sister Helen; and brother-in-law Jack Elliott. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday from 2-4:30 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday August 6, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in St. Thomas Cemetery-Dover at a later date.
