Obituary of Francis Pelletier

PELLETIER: Francis Joseph. A resident of Blenheim, Francis Joseph Pelletier passed away surrounded by his loving family at the age of 86 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, August 11, 2008. Oldest son of Theogene (1955) and Mary (1959) (Sheff) Pelletier. Also predeceased by sisters Rosalia and Vivian, and brothers Eugene and James. Francis (Fran) was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch#185 Blenheim after serving in WWII. Memories include his love of dancing, fishing, playing baseball and cards with family and friends. Loving companion of Helen McNear for the past 34 years. Survived by his daughters Lori Scaman, Lynda Beemer, Liane Romansky, Cheryl Gibson, son Scott Pelletier, and all their families. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Brother of Theresa Little, Rosemary Authier, and brother-in-law of Alice Pelletier. Francis (Fran) has enjoyed many family gatherings with Helen's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by Marion and Bob Shepherd, Tom and Linda McNear, Ruth Ann Jinkerson, Jim and Marybelle McNear, Marge and Herb McVicar, Linda Ramsden (Dave), Bob McNear (Sandy), Thelma McNear and Rob Campbell, and all their families. Visitors will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home "Ford Chapel", 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Legion Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev.
