KUIPER: Wilma. A resident of Chatham, Wilma Kuiper passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the age of 87. Born in Zwanenburg, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Alhrich and Willemina (Koetsier) Herfst. Loving wife of the late Nicholas Kuiper (1983). Mother of Linda Dorigen of Ottawa, Wayne and Margaret Kuiper of Chatham, Adriana Maathuis of London, Nick Kuiper and Joan Olinger of London, and predeceased by infant daughter Christine (1953). Grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 9, and predeceased by 2 grandsons. Sister of Albert and Margaret Herfst of Chatham, Rie and Frits Ton of The Netherlands, and predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church, 25 Tweedsmuir Ave. E., Chatham on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Peter Hogeterp officiating. A family interment service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to the C.R.W.R.C. or charity of choice would be appreciated.
