Obituary of Evelyn Marie Little

LITTLE: Evelyn Marie (Lowrie) (nee Pegg) A resident of Chatham, Evelyn Little died on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Riverview Gardens, at the age of 87. Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, to the late Alford & Ethel (Lomas) Pegg. Beloved wife of the late Earl Lowrie (1965) and the late Wm. ‘Bill’ Little (1983). Loving mother of Kayda & Tom Fenton of Morpeth, Norman & Jean Lowrie of Chatham, and Samuel & Faylene Lowrie of Dartmouth NS. Remembered by her stepson Bill Jr. & Linda Little of Paris Ont. Evelyn will be missed by her grandchildren J.P. Lowrie (Susan), Jayme Lowrie (Steve), Robert Lowrie (Diane), Jennifer Huson, and Stephanie Lowrie. Evelyn will also be missed by step-grandchildren T.J., Penny, Dora, Linda, Mark, Billie-Anne, and Dale. Loving great ‘granny’ of Justin, Brendan, Amber and MaKayla Lowrie. Survived by her brother Alford “Kay” Pegg and his wife Marie of B.C. Predeceased by her brother Joseph Pegg and step daughter Shirley DeVries. Evelyn was a member and past president Royal Canadian Legion Branch 628 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Airforce Wing 411. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Friday, August 29, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home.
