Obituary of Helen Hastings

HASTINGS: Helen Margaret. A resident of Blenheim, Helen Margaret Hastings passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the age of 89. Born in Harwich Township, daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie (Long) Hastings. Dear sister of Olive and Doug Goldring of Chatham, Doris Hastings of London, the late Gordon Hastings and his wife Kaye of Blenheim, the late Anne and Bob Pennington, and the late Ruth and Gordon Higgs. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen was a teacher and taught all of her life. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home "Ford Chapel", 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service to immediately follow at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Cook of Blenheim United Church officiating. Cremation with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
