Obituary of Patricia Smyth-Lauzon

SMYTH-LAUZON: Patricia A resident of Chatham, Patricia D. Smyth-Lauzon died peacefully, surrounded by her family & friends at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday August 30, 2008 at the age of 45. Born in Chatham, beloved daughter of John & Carol Smyth of Chatham. Loving wife of John Lauzon, and cherished mother of Taylor and Riley Lauzon at home. Dear sister of John Smyth of Toronto, and sister-in-law of Joe & Sue Ann Lauzon of Chatham, and Gerard Lauzon & the late Susan Lauzon of Dover Centre. Patricia is lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a teacher for over 20 years in Chatham, a member of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association, and the College of Teachers. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Avenue, Chatham on Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
